Dr Simon Bernard MD, MBBS, FRACS (Plastics), member of ASPS, ASAPS, ISAPS.

Dr Simon Bernard is a fully qualified and trained plastic cosmetic surgeon. He graduated with his medical degree (MBBS) from Melbourne University after 6 years with honours in 1990 and obtained the Stirling prize in clinical surgery and several other final year prizes. After completing basic general surgical training over a further 4 year period, he then trained in advanced plastic and reconstructive surgery for a further 4 years through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons accredited training program (FRACS). He has also obtained a further degree from the University of Melbourne as a doctorate of medicine (MD) with advanced research into blood supply and anatomy of the body. He is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASAP), the Australian Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) and the International Society of Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), registered practitioner with the United Kingdom medical board, and an international member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He attends overseas meetings regularly each year to ensure he maintains his knowledge with the very latest in cosmetic and plastic surgery developments.
